CertifyIP can log any type of file — designs, documents, code, audio, video, archives. There is no list of allowed formats and no file-size limit in the app.
A small number of system and temporary files are ignored automatically so they don't clutter your snapshots:
- .DS_Store, Thumbs.db and desktop.ini
- Office lock files (names starting with ~$) and macOS resource files (names starting with ._)
- Temporary and partial files such as .tmp, .swp, .crdownload, .part and .download
Everything else in a watched folder, or that you add by hand, is eligible for a snapshot.
