A project is the container for the work you want to protect. Everything you log into it is recorded as snapshots and, when you're ready, sealed on the blockchain.
- In the Projects tab, choose New Project (or use the "Start a new project" form shown when you have no projects yet).
- Name your project. Names must be unique among your existing projects.
- Optionally choose a folder to watch — use Browse to point CertifyIP at the folder where you work. You can skip this and add files yourself later.
- Click Create project.
Under Advanced you can choose which wallet owns the project on chain: the CertifyIP Custodial Wallet (the default, easiest way to start; you can transfer to your own wallet later) or Your Own Wallet, which you link under Account › Wallets. Projects are recorded on the Polygon network.
If your plan's project limit has been reached, Create project is disabled and the form shows an Upgrade link.
