Sealing finalises a project: it permanently locks the files, writes an immutable record to the Polygon blockchain, and generates your certificate. Seal when the work is complete — nothing can be added, removed or changed afterwards.
- Open the project and click Seal Project.
- Optionally choose a cover image for the certificate, from your project's images or CertifyIP's built-in set.
- Tick the confirmation box acknowledging that sealing locks all files, creates an immutable blockchain record, and generates a PDF certificate.
- Confirm. The app shows progress through Queued, Sealing (recording on the blockchain) and Certificate (generating your certificate).
When it finishes you'll see the transaction hash and the project's status changes to Sealed. If the seal fails or is rejected because another blockchain operation is in progress, wait for it to complete and try again.
